1970's Vintage Ludwig 22" X 6 & 3/16" Bass Drum Project Kick RAW Gong

Description

Up for sale today is a 1970's Vintage Ludwig  22" X 6 & 3/16" inch Bass Drum in Used Condition.
This 40+ year old drum was drilled for 10 Large P2243B lugs per side & is made of
6 ply Maple wood.
Hole spacing on the lugs is
1 & 11/16".
Factory drilled (See Pic #3,6)
for Bass Drum Feet #1308 or now commonly known as LC 1308SP.
This drum was also factory riveted (See Pic #3,6) to keep the cover on.
This drum would have had the Blue/Olive badge.
I originally purchased this drum as you see it from a drum shop that had cut the 22" x 14" shell down due to water damage. One side of this shell has factory cut bearing edges (See Pic #9). The other side is flat (See Pic #11).
It came with mismatched hardware but was quite the little thumper. My plan was to purchase tube lugs & rewrap it. Also would be a good candidate to convert to a gong drum. Outer maple ply is in Excellent condition and could be stained natural as well.
So many projects... so little time....
Condition:
The Drum is "in round" or not warped, modern heads spin easily on both sides. There is one extra hole (See Pice #1) leftover from the original center tom mount, this will be hidden by the hoop when assembled. There are a few small nicks in the factory bearing edge, cut edge is very precise & sits flat on a piece of glass.
