Antique Victorian GF Taille D'Epargne Viking Longhouse Oval Locket Necklace 20"

Description

Very Good vintage condition for its age. Some fine surface scratches, black enamel loss, and very light wear of the gold finish.  Locket contains original glass frames, appear in good condition.  Some oxidation inside one of well.  One side features Nordic motifs, including a viking ship and longhouse.  The other side is embellished with floral etchings, with room for engraving.  Locket mechanism is a two button snap closure, which you open by applying gentle pressure on opposite sides of the buttons.  Closure and hinge both work well, and clasp is secure.  Spring ring on chain contains purity marks for 12k gold fill.  Locket is unmarked.
