Featuring the best preselected custom options from the Masterworks realm for the best in sound and playability from each drum, Pearl Reference Series drums produce optimum pro performance for high-volume, high-capacity playing presence. Reference Series 8" and 10" Toms feature a 6-ply blended Maple (4) Birch (2) 7.5MM Shell with a Rounded 45-degree bearing edge. This unique blend in the Reference tonal spectrum produces extra cut and projection for high-note pitch. All Reference toms feature Pearl Mastercast hoops, our unique swiveling BRL lug, and chrome aluminum Opti-Mount suspension system for maximum resonance and sustain.
